Subject: IMPORTANT Emergency Maintenance to be done tonight 22:00 Local UK time
First of all we wanted to apologize for the recent downtime issues which have happened in the past few days with two shared servers and one VPS server located in UK. While they were relatively short periods of downtime for most users any downtime is taken very seriously and unacceptable for us.
We know you trust us to ensure we are always giving the best and highest level of uptime. We have finally traced the issue to one of the power circuit's Schneider Breaker panels which feed some of the racks. This needs to be replaced ASAP since there is a chance it can trip again. This is why we have scheduled an emergency maintenance which needs to be completed tonight.
Unfortunately replacing it requires us to take down four servers for about 1-2 hours MAX. These servers are listed at the top of this page. The maintenance will happen at this time:

The good news is while the breaker is replaced we are also installing some
"Olson Electronics 32A Automatic Transfer Switches"

This is being done to provide a double source of power feed from 2 different distribution panels in the facility. This way in the future if there is any issue with any of the power source from the A side it will automatically flow to the B side. Like wise if there is any issue with the B side it will flow through the A side. These breakers are very rare to fail and in our entire history we have never seen one fail like this one has. So this is a very rare case.
At no time has the facility lost power it is an internal issue on the last electric leg feed past the generator and UPS. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we do this maintenance to solve the issues. At the same time you will benefit from A/B power.
Nothing is needed to be done on your end. Everything will be handled by our onsite engineers.
