I am just following up with all clients affected by this Mastercard fiasco. I appreciate many of you have paid via 'Paypal Guest' or 'Bank Transfer' and I thank you for that. Anyone else who were waiting for an update and who we gave a grace period to can now proceed to make payment.
Please remember many companies were affected by this and there is a thread in the Web Hosting Talk Forums with many other web hosts in the same position.
We had to send them some proof of address and I got this reply:

Hello Stephen,
By confirming your address, we were able to put your payments through the upstream provider for the UK region. The UK region was not affected by the MasterCard issue at all and customers should now be able to pay using MasterCard without any issue. Thank you both for your cooperation and patience. We are hopeful this change should allow business to completely return to normal for you. Please let me know if you have other questions about this or if there is anything else I can do to help.

===================
I do apologise once again for this problem and I am glad we got a resolution - albeit taking seven days. We were only told last week we needed to confirm our address but the email did not mention any urgency about this (the deadline was 1 December) and it absolutely did not mention anything about Mastercards being declined until we confirmed our address.
In fact it was our clients who told us their mastercards were declining long before we had this confirmed by 2checkout. This is really bad communication on the part of 2Checkout. We are giving them the benefit of the doubt as we have used them for years with zero issues but will be asking for this issue to be flagged to highest management level so they can learn from this.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding.
