Last night in the early evening our monitoring system alerted us to the fact Server 21 was heavily loaded and was unresponsive. We rebooted the server and determined one abusive user on the server. We suspended that user and load dropped to a very low level.
This morning the account was unsuspended while a tech closely monitored the server. Unfortunately load spiked again and the server required a reboot. We do apologise for this.
Unfortunately from time to time these things happen especially on standard shared servers where the hosting charges are lower so the servers are more densely packed.
The user who caused this has had his account suspended and we have informed him we cannot unsuspend it again as it has been affecting other users and that is not acceptable.
