Notice this blogger seems to suggest it happened to him after a Cpanel Update and Cpanel have today released a new ‘high importance’ security update. We are not sure if this is related but it seemed to happen after the update.
We will keep an eye on this but as far as we can see the issue is fixed. If you see any issues we do not see please let us know immediately.

A L3 tech is currently working on this issue we are still not 100% sure what is going on but we have some ideas. No other tickets are being worked on and this is our only focus at the moment

It appears although the MySQL service is running the MySQL user privileges are not working. We are still working towards a resolution on this.

We are looking into an issue where MySQL server seems to be running fine on Server 30 but the MySQL driven websites are showing ‘Database Connection Error’. This seems to be across all websites hosted on this server.
