We wanted to let you know that over the next day we will be moving a lot of our shared servers to use CloudLinux. CloudLinux is a premium Operating System that has a number of added benefits for all our shared hosting clients. You can read some of the benefits here:
The upgrade process will cause a little load when we enable CageFS on all the accounts and it will also cause a few minutes downtime while we reboot each server into the CloudLinux kernel. We will be completing these steps on Bank Holiday Monday.
We hope that by completing this on a holiday Monday it will cause least disruption whist also ensuring we upgrade at office hours where we have most staff available to assist if something goes wrong (we are not expecting any issues though)
