Important Information for VPS Clients Running Cpanel
cPanel is releasing 11.40 on Monday November 4th, 2013 with several significant changes to its release tier. Due to these major changes and the newness of the release there may be conflicts with current configurations or issues may arise from if your cPanel automatic update is set to release tier
We would strongly recommend all VPS Clients change their Cpanel Automatic update setting in WHM to 'STABLE TIER' and not have it update automatically at 'RELEASE TIER'.
We wil gladly make this change for you if you open a helpdesk ticket. It may not cause any issues at all if you do update automatically but as this is such a new release with significant changes : http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/vief/AllDocumentation/1140ReleaseNotes we will not be upgrading our shared servers for a while and recommend clients do not upgrade straight away either.
