Business 2 Server Traffic Spike

We are aware of slow loading from one of our business servers: business2.bigwetfish.co.uk
We have recently become aware that a client has bought and paid for hosting on this server for a Fantasy Football Site. The particular client has nearly 100000 followwers on Twitter and today the traffic is killing the server.
Our business hosting is a lot more resilient than our standard shared hosting but it is still not designed to handle tens of thousands of concurrent connections.
We are working to stop this traffic from reaching this server. We sincerely apologise for this blip in service and unfortunately we had no way of knowing this would happen.
We will be recommending this user move this site urgently to a more suitable hosting platform designed to handle tens of thousands of concurrent forum and website connections.
