We are trying to schedule with the 'remote hands' in the data centre some maintenance on the server business.bigwetfish.co.uk
As a business class server this machine has two backups - one internal backup drive and a remote backup. Unfortunately it appears the internal backup drive is no longer showing. We need to take the server off the rack and replace the SATA cable first and then the drive if that is deemed necessary.
We are asking this to be scheduled at 3am UK time. As we have an additional backup of this server we are not deeming this to be emergency maintenance so we have asked the data centre to TRY to do this at 3am.
We will update this announcement once this has been completed. Downtime will be 15 minutes max and will be at 3am so we hope this limits the impact.
