**After the embargo the information was released and we are not affected by this immediate issue.  You can read some more information here on affected systems  http://xenbits.xen.org/xsa/  and we are not affected.  Apologies for any alarm caused but we had no information on this issue yesterday.  We reached out to highly respected security contacts and none of them were aware of the details either so it was best to err on the side of caution and announce the possibility of patches and reboots - gladly there is no disruption today as we do not need to update XEN Hypervisors at this time**

====================================================

We are posting this as a precaution that there is currently an embargoed Vulnerability for Xen which is the technology we use for our VPS servers.

This embargo is lifted at 1pm UK time on Wednesday 1 October 2014.  It is VERY likely we will need to apply patches and reboot servers very quickly after this is advised and we thank clients for their patience.  As soon as we know more about this issue we will of course make appropriate plans.

Once the embargo is lifted we will update this post as quickly as possible with specific information.
